"I’ve always been an anxious person. As an introvert, I often found myself fidgeting to stay grounded in social settings. One night, when I was at a corporate party, I was nervously twisting a tissue in my hands. Without realizing it, I shaped it into a ring - the very first spark of what would later become the Wave Ring, and the beginning of this brand.
That moment made me notice how dominant fidgeting was in my life, and how comforting it felt to engage with textures. I wanted to capture that soothing, grounding sensation in something I could wear every day - something that blended ease, elegance, and function. That idea became the heart of this collection: jewelry that feels as good as it looks.
The name Alonnu began as a play on my last name, but it quickly became a philosophy. A reminder that coming back to yourself, whether alone or surrounded by people, is a kind of strength.
