What’s the story behind your brand?

Alonnu was born from a simple observation: we reach for things. A smooth stone on a desk. The edge of a ring. A familiar surface. It's one of the most human instincts we have - and yet jewelry had never been designed with that in mind.

We design each piece around texture first - shapes and surfaces that invite the hands back, again and again. The result is jewelry that functions like a ritual object: something you put on in the morning and find yourself returning to throughout the day.

We use high-quality, skin-friendly materials like sterling silver. Each piece is made to be both beautiful and durable.

Are your pieces hypoallergenic?

Yes, all our pieces are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Our pieces are made to be part of your everyday rituals, including gentle practices like yoga or meditation. To help them stay beautiful for years to come:

• Avoid contact with water, lotions, and harsh chemicals
• Remove them before showering or swimming
• Wear them during light, mindful movement (like yoga or pilates), but avoid high-intensity workouts or exposure to sweat-heavy activity

Will my jewelry get scratched?

Since our pieces are made from sterling silver, which is a beautiful but soft metal, they can develop small scratches or marks with regular wear. This is a natural part of the metal’s character and can even add to its unique charm over time. If you ever want to refresh your jewelry, any professional jeweler should be able to polish and restore it to look like new.

We ship across Canada as well as to over 100 countries around the world. You can view available shipping options at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?

Our pieces are made to order, so please consider this before making a purchase. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your jewelry to be handcrafted and prepared for shipment. We recommend keeping this in mind before placing your order, especially if you’re purchasing for a specific occasion. We cannot guarantee exact shipping dates. However, if you need your jewelry by a certain time, feel free to reach out before placing your order - we’ll always do our best to accommodate when we can. Shipping times vary depending on your location, but you’ll get tracking info as soon as it’s on the way. You'll see the shipping estimate based on the carrier and shipping method selected at checkout, however, those are not guaranteed and will be dependent on the carrier.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change or cancel your order, please email us within 24 hours of placing it. After that, we begin the made-to-order process, and cancellations may not be possible if your piece is already in production.

Am I responsible for duties and taxes on my order?

All orders ship from British Columbia, Canada. International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees required by their destination country. Depending on your location, these charges may be collected at checkout; if so, this will be clearly indicated before you complete your purchase. If duties and taxes are not collected at checkout, they may be charged upon delivery. We recommend reviewing your country’s import requirements before placing an order.

Failure or refusal to pay these fees may result in your shipment being delayed, returned, or abandoned. Please note that abandoned shipments are not eligible for a refund.

I have a discount code - how do I use it?

Great! You can enter your discount code at checkout. Please note that only one discount code can be applied per order. If you have multiple codes, they’ll need to be used on separate orders.

What’s your return policy?

For customers in Canada, earrings and necklaces may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unused, and returned in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Rings are final sale, as each piece is sized to order and made specifically for you.

All international orders (outside Canada) are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

My item arrived damaged, what should I do?

If your item arrives damaged due to quality or shipping issues, please send an inquiry via the Contact page or an email to hello@alonnu.com within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll happily repair or exchange it for you. To be eligible, items must be unworn, and returned in their original packaging within 14 days. We reserve the right to decline exchanges for items that don't comply with these conditions.

Where is your jewelry made?

Our pieces are thoughtfully designed and made in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Every piece is hand-finished to ensure it feels special - because it is.

Please note that due to the handmade nature of our jewelry, each piece may feature subtle variations and / or imperfections that form a unique part of its design.

How do I find my ring size?

Finding the right ring size is important for comfort, especially with pieces designed to be touched and worn daily. We use US / Canadian sizing. Check our ring size guide here.
